This video has been created to highlight the fact that all paper sent to landfill emits methane – a greenhouse gas that is 20 times more potent than carbon dioxide. Recycling paper therefore not only helps preserve the world’s natural resources but also has a wider environmental impact of reducing greenhouse gas emissions, which are widely believed to contribute to global warming.
