environmental declarations

The purpose of these *declarations is to enable customers to have access to accurate information on the environmental impact of our products in the key areas of pulp sourcing, manufacturing and our environmental management. In addition to the definition of the product in question, the detailed environmental parameters considered are:

• Water (COD, AOX, NR, P), air (SO2, Nox, CO2), consumed energy, purchased electricity and solid waste landfilled.
• The environmental certificates are mentioned with their reference number and their validity date (ISO14001, ISO 9001, OHSAS18001, FSC, APUR, etc).
• The origin of fibres used to manufacture paper is specified, whether it is recycled or from well managed forests.
• A transport policy that minimises the impact on the environment.
• The carbon footprint is specified in equivalent CO2 emitted for a tonne of paper produced in the factory in question; with the methodology for calculating the carbon footprint outlined. The carbon footprint assessments are in line with PAS 2050 requirements.
• The packaging of our papers guarantees that it can either be recycled or reusable.
• The use of chemicals is controlled in accordance with European standard REACH

*Arjowiggins Graphic has produced Environmental Declarations for each product within this website according to its manufacturing plant. Where a product is manufactured in more than one plant it will thus have to Environmental Declarations.
